MORNING

Dutch dream-metal band Morning was formed in 2000 by two former members of Psychosis, singer Saskia van Heugten and drummer Mauro Pi. They were joined by Pol and Stijn Banner on synths and bass respectively, guitarists Bas Rensen and Martijn Brauwers and vocalist Saskia Van Heugten.

Stijn Bannier says the band was originally called Mourning, " but we were contacted by a Satanic movement who told us that they were already using the name." Damn Satanists.

Morning is a young band (ages between fourteen and twenty five) and their "dream-metal" grandeur is the result of listening to bands like The Gathering, Ayreon, Rhapsody and Lacuna Coil. The band gigs constantly and hopes to soon conquer the world.
